Pre-employment Training
Pre-employment training is designed for individuals who are currently unemployed and looking to enter or re-enter the workforce.
This training covers a range of job market skills and industry-specific knowledge to help participants become job-ready. During the program, participants will earn an employability certificate along with relevant industry-recognised qualifications. These skills not only prepare participants for job interviews but also significantly enhance their chances of finding and keeping meaningful employment.
Getting ready for a job
Pre-employment program offered by Workvision Australia assist job seekers to enter the workforce. These programs offer fundamental, tailored training in a range of topics, helping with upskilling the candidates and get them job-ready for entry-level positions and fulfilling legal requirements.
Workvision offers Accredited and Non-accredited training depending upon the requirement of the employment and job-seeker’s ability to successfully complete the program to acheive the qualifications.
Prospective candidates are encouraged to make the most of this valuable opportunity to learn about the key expectations and essential skills needed for employment. Before enrolling in our pre-employment training, each individual is assessed for suitability — we take into account their motivation, previous experience, and current skill level to ensure the program is the right fit.
Wage Subsidy Assistance
Government Wage Subsidy Assistance provides financial support to employers who hire eligible job seekers, making it easier to grow your team while supporting local employment. These subsidies are designed to reduce the initial cost of hiring and can be applied across a range of industries, roles, and employment types — including full-time, part-time, and apprenticeships or traineeships.
Accessing wage subsidies is simple and flexible.
We’ll work with your business to confirm eligibility, guide you through the application process, and connect you with job-ready candidates. It’s a smart way to reduce hiring costs, diversify your workforce, and make a real difference in someone’s life — all while meeting your staffing needs.
Employers may be eligible for wage subsidies when hiring individuals from priority groups, such as young people, mature-age workers, people with disability, Indigenous Australians, long-term unemployed, and new migrants. The subsidy amount and duration can vary, but in many cases, businesses can access up to $10,000 in financial support, depending on the job seeker’s circumstances and the type of role offered.
